Mixed-origin raw material is the real challenge

A plant that processes one origin can set a roast curve and leave it. A plant that processes whatever arrives cannot. Kernel size and incoming moisture shift with origin and season, and both move the curve.

Practically that means two things. Build the recipe record around bed thickness, belt speed and burner setting rather than around a single temperature. And make sure your drying stage is genuinely controllable — the DGKX-C runs a low-temperature drying profile as well as a high-temperature roasting profile in the same machine, which is what lets you re-tune for a new lot instead of hoping.

Grading is where a trader adds value

If your business is trading as much as manufacturing, the dicing and grading section is the machine that pays. Stacked vibrating decks after the cutting chamber discharge each size fraction separately, with fines and dust drawn off so the graded fractions stay clean.

That turns one incoming lot into several outgoing specifications — bakery topping, ice-cream inclusion, chocolate filling, nut bars, seasoning blends — each sold at its own price rather than the whole lot moving at the lowest common grade.

We re-grade rather than roast. Do we still need an oven?

Not necessarily. If your output is graded raw or blanched kernel, the machines that matter are the peeler, the splitter and the dicing and grading machine. Tell us what leaves your door and we will quote only what you need — an oven you do not run is the most expensive thing in a plant.

Can the dicer handle several nut types without a rebuild?

Yes. Cut size is set by knife spacing and the grading decks are adjustable, so peanuts, almonds, cashews and hazelnuts run on the same machine with different settings.
